Complete set in 15 fascicules, each 16 pages representing a different CoBrA artist, with texts in Danish and b&w photo-engraved plates. Each front cover is an original lithograph, 13 of the 15 lithos are in bright colors. Artists presented: Pierre Alechinsky, Else Alfelt, Karel Appel, Jean Atlan, Ejler Bille, Constant, Corneille, Jacques Doucet, Sonja Ferlov, Stephen Gilbert, Svavar Gudnason, Henry Heerup, Egill Jacobsen, Asger Jorn, Carl-Henning Pedersen. Contributing texts by: Edouard Jaguer, Christian Dotremont, Michel Ragon, Jean Laude, et al. Included also is 2-page foldout with the title, contents and introductory text by Asger Jorn. All housed in a fragile paper case with a color-lithographed design. The 15 fascicules are in perfect condition, the case with a couple of very insignificant creases and one flap slightly repaired; a far better than average copy. This "experimental art encyclopedia" is a historically very important document on the CoBrA art movement.
